Ideally located, this small, fully restored cottage full of character, with its 2,000-square-meter wooded grounds and private entrance, awaits you for an immersive experience in the heart of nature. You’ll find yourself on the trails exploring the Mervent Forest, its lake, and its activities: hiking, biking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, the water sports center, and the zoo.
For more cultural and other attractions less than 10 minutes away, you’ll also be charmed by the medieval town of Vouvant and its art galleries, cafés, and castle; Fontenay-le-Comte and its historic center, as well as Foussais-Payré, a charming little town with its chocolate shop and sculptures.
Must-see attractions within an hour: Puy du Fou, the beaches of the Vendée, the “Green Venice” and its marshes, La Rochelle, and Île de Ré.
