About this cottage rental
Short-term and mid-term rentals welcome. This is a lovely recently bought and updated home right on the beautiful Kennebec River in central Maine. 10 min away from Waterville and Colby, Thomas and KV College, you can kayak or fish right off this property. New mattresses in 3 bedrooms, 2 queens, 1 trundle bedroom, sleeping 6 comfortably with a cot and couch for 2 more children if necessary. Chic designed interior. Minutes by foot to local ice cream shop, pharmacy, deli and grocery store. Please note, as this is a historic home, the bathroom ceiling is a bit lower than usual and walking up the stairs, if you are really tall you will have to duck.

We stayed for the Colby College Commencement weekend so we didn't need much more than a place to sleep and shower. Just a 10 minute drive to campus. Kate was very prompt in responding to questions which was helpful.

House was right on the Kennebec River and very close to Waterville. It was clean and the owner was very nice. The only thing to note is that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom was down. This was a bit tricky for an elder to navigate. Overall nice house and great location
