Lake Lure is just stunning. The house was perfect for us. Super clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There’s a beautiful deck on the back facing the mountains that just gives you peace. We went on great hikes each day in Chimney Rock state park and surrounding areas.
My sons zip lined and rock climbed and we ate good food. It was a wonderful getaway. The drive was beautiful- about an hour from the Asheville airport.

There were gnats everywhere - could not drink a drink without them being everywhere and we could not stop them! Also the master bathroom tub is the slickest thing I’ve ever been on!

Unterkunft ist super. Voll ausgestattete Küche, zwei Bäder. Leider hat die Gegend sehr unter dem Hurricane gelitten. Lake Lure hat aktuell kaum Wasser wegen der Aufräumarbeiten. Manche Straßen sind auch noch gesperrt.
Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Zugang zur Unterkunft, da der PIN Code nicht stimmte. Mussten dadurch leider eine Nacht im Hotel verbringen, weil wir nachts ankamen und niemanden mehr erreicht haben. Wurde dann aber alles sehr professionell gelöst.
