As per my other entry.
One thing I forgot to mention: the owner told me before I arrived that there would be "no groceries". This turned out to mean literally nothing comestible in the flat when I arrived: no salt, no oil, no sugar, no teabags, coffee - nothing at all. The place had been scoured. There was a dribble of laundry liquid but no more. I was only staying a few days so the small quantities of the basic dry groceries that you usually get in rented accommodation would have seen me through, but I had to buy considerable quantities that I wouldn't need.
I asked when I left that everything non-perishable I hadn't used and couldn't take with me be left for the next guest. So the next person staying should find: a full box of teabags, jar of nescafe (nearly full), large container of laundry liquid by the washing-machine and conditioner (nearly full) in the shower. If those items are not there, you are within your rights to request that they be supplied by the owner. My email is [email protected].

Stunning location in the middle of an old fortiified village typical of the region. The apartment is enormous, on two levels - six people could comfortably stay here. The views are amazing - as well as the spacious loggia, there are two balconies on the upper floor.
Decor is simple but homely. Equipment likewise. A pair of scissors, some more cutlery (especially teaspoons), and bowls would be useful.
The church bells have been mentioned by some previous guests. If you are very noise sensitive this might not be the ideal place.
The mattresses on the two double beds are very hard.
The flying beetles - sneaky things. Bring a fly swat.

Plus de coussins pour les lits et une plus grande partie congélateur dans le frigo auraient bienvenu

Einzigartige Burg-Atmosphäre
Große Wohnräume und zusätzliche Räume mit historischer Einrichtung (z.B. extra Lesezimmer)
Die Unterkunft ist im Großen und Ganzen sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet (Wenn man kleinlich sein will: Es gab keinen Toaster)
Das gesonderte Esszimmer ist für eine Familie von großem Vorteil
Der Ausblick von zwei Terrassen ist traumhaft - eine der beiden Terrassen ist riesig
Praktisch: Das zweite WC mit Waschmaschine neben der Terrasse
Die Check-In-Zeit ist sehr flexibel, denn alles wird Remote abgewickelt (Die Tatsache, dass der Vermieter nicht vor Ort ist, kann man natürlich auch nachteilig wahrnehmen)
Viele Flyer und Infos für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung
Die Location ist etwas älter, daher riecht es z.T. muffig
Es gibt keinen Geschirrspüler
Die Fester und Türen schließen nicht dicht (und z.T. auch sehr laut), daher war es im Oktober hier z.T. ungemütlich
In den Schlafräumen im OG gibt es leider keine Heizung, daher ist es im Oktober hier recht frisch (die Decken waren aber warm genug)
Die Burg ist relativ abgelegen, daher hat man ohne Auto hier auch kaum eine Chance voran zu kommen
Zum nächsten Supermarkt muss man einige Kilometer fahren (z.B. Aulla)
Das WLAN ist leider nicht in allen Räumen nutzbar
Der Parkplatz, der sich außerhalb der Burg befindet, war leider nicht an jedem Tag frei
Für uns das größte Manko: In fast allen Räumen gab es eklige Stinkwanzen, die der an sich schönen Location leider in einen sehr negativen Charakter geben
