The apartment is beautiful and very well kept. However, there is something important to know before booking: cars cannot stop directly in front of the apartment because it is located in a restricted traffic zone. You will need to park in a public parking lot and carry your luggage back to the apartment. This can be tiring and difficult, especially because Siena is quite hilly and you may have to walk some distance with your bags. I was initially told that I could park in front of the apartment temporarily to unload my luggage, but I was later told that this was not allowed and that I could risk getting a parking ticket. Overall, the apartment itself is lovely, but I recommend being prepared for the parking and luggage situation before your arrival.

The queen mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. It’s not very comfortable for two people. The additional cost of public parking was not part of our budget, and after a five-day stay, it really added up.

A very well equipped and beautiful apartment, close to the city centre.
