I can not speak higher of any place I have ever stayed. the house was wonderful in every way. It's big, its comfortable, it has huge parking area, it is well maintained. With six bedrooms and I think something like 13 beds, plus couches and different rooms where you can gather, it is a perfect place for a corporate retreat or a large family gathering.

Awesome location if you want to be closer to central oregon's more northern hiking. The street it's off is a little busy, and there was unfortunately a little bit of miscommunication about check-in and house rules on account of a stolen guest-book, but the owners helped a lot.

We had a great time with four generations of family at the Rope and Barrel. The house was very spacious and comfortable and is beautifully appointed. The kitchen was very well stocked with abundant dishes and cookware for meals for our group of 10. There were also plenty of extra towels and blankets. The property surrounding the house is serene and we enjoyed the large back patio with fire pit. The hosts, Brian and Monique, were very pleasant and responsive. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

Rope and Barrel was the perfect vacation rental for us to celebrate family and friends. We hosted a family dinner at Rope and Barrel for my mom's 80th birthday. The house has been beautifully remodeled. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining and the wine frig was a plus!! There was plenty of space for everyone, inside and out. The house is in the "country" but close to Costco and Trader Joes! If you are looking for privacy this is the house for you. Five of us ladies sat on the patio late into the evening laughing and reminiscing without worry that we were being too loud for the neighbors. Monique and Brian are wonderful hosts and we loved the home. The ONLY issue (for some of our group) was the road noise - Deschutes Market Road is fairly busy at random times. I did not notice this but want to give an honest review.
We would definitely stay again! Thank you Monique and Brian!
