The bare minimum
The apartment is new and is located on a quieter street, 5 minute walk to two main roads with a variety of bus lines.
The apartment was spotless when I arrived.
The host was responsive and accommodating at first and brought the additional kitchen supplies I requested.
1. Noisy
While the apartment is in the basement and it's windows face into the atrium which means all the noise from everyone else's apartments gets trapped in that space. The walls and the doors are thin and it's possible to hear entire conversations from next-door neighbors. I was in the apartment over the weekend and every night music playing and loud conversations went until midnight. One night people were congregating and talking in the hallway until 2 in the morning.
2. No individual climate control
The building has a central heating/cooling system that follows preset rules.
3. Tiny sofa bed sleeping space
The sofa bed is divided into two halves. The larger half is split into two so one can really sleep on the small half, squeezed by the wall as not to slide into the crack.
4. The host
While the host was responsive and accommodating at first, he did not respond to my question about checkout and when I called him he had trouble remembering who I was.

Stanodavac je bio izuzetno ljubazan i prijatan tokom celog boravka – uvek dostupan, komunikativan i spreman da izađe u susret. Posebno cenimo što nam je omogućio da platimo par dana kasnije, jer nismo imale tačan iznos novca pri dolasku, što govori o njegovoj korektnosti i fleksibilnosti.
Lokacija apartmana je dobra – nalazi se u mirnom i prijatnom delu Zemuna, tiho je i sve je blizu, što je za svaku pohvalu.
Toalet je bio jako čist – tu sve pohvale. Još jedna velika prednost je privatni parking sa daljinskom rampom, što je retkost i velika olakšica.
Nažalost, najveći problem je potpuni nedostatak protoka vazduha. Po ulasku se odmah oseti neprijatan, ustajali miris. Prozor i terasa praktično nemaju nikakvu funkciju kada je ventilacija u pitanju. Klima uređaj ne postoji, a jedina opcija za osveženje bio je ventilator koji smo pronašle u ormaru – prekriven debelim slojem prašine, koji očigledno nije bio korišćen mesecima. To je potpuno nedopustivo i ostavlja jako loš utisak o ukupnoj higijeni prostora. Kao osoba sklona alergijama, dobila sam ozbiljnu reakciju na prašinu koju nisam uspela da smirim sve vreme boravka. Čišćenje ventilatora, naravno, nije nešto što bi trebalo da bude odgovornost gostiju.
Higijena u stanu je, generalno, solidna (6/10), ali postoje neki detalji koji nisu očišćeni dugo vremena – kao što su televizor, utičnice i lampe. Takođe, smatram da bi bilo fer da za cenu koju plaćamo i takse koje Booking naplaćuje (3.5 EUR po osobi, što je ukupno 7 EUR za nas), dobijemo osnovne stvari za funkcionisanje stana. Na primer, nedostajala je krpa za kuhinju, nismo imali čime da obrišemo sudove, a imali smo samo dve šolje različite veličine - što nas je nasmejalo, jer nismo znale ko će "sikterušu" kafu, a ko "normalne" veličine kafu da pije 😄. Ovaj detalj ostavlja utisak da su stvari nabavljene na brzinu, "što je prva ruka dohvati". Smatram da bi trebalo jasno naglasiti u opisu da je stan u suterenu, jer taj detalj nekima može značajno uticati na boravak, posebno zbog činjenice da gotovo nema dnevne svetlosti. Osobama sa alergijama na prašinu ne bih preporučila ovaj apartman dok se ne reše problemi sa ventilacijom i čistoćom opreme.
U suštini, stan ima potencijal i veliki plus je korektan domaćin, ali uz bolje održavanje higijene i poboljšanje uslova vazduha, utisak bi bio znatno bolji.
