A Must-visit in Naxos for Gorgeous Views & Relaxing Vibes

The property was beautiful and we loved our room and rooftop with gorgeous sunset views. We enjoyed hanging by the pool and our dinner at Stelida was delicious. We walked down to the beach which was beautiful as well.

Great hotel a little out of the way but fabulous views and rooms.

Rooms were pretty and spacious with good facilities. Roof top seating area was lovely. Gardens also very pretty. The restaurant food was amazing, highly recommend. Breakfast included was stunning.

Some staff were very personal and friendly, others looked uninterested. This was a shame as the hotel was lovely.

Loved the room and the private outdoor space. The staff was great!

Quiet and peaceful property. Had a pool, bar, and restaurant. The staff was lovely and the room was comfortable, cleaned daily. The resident cats were adorable. We had a car and drove a short distance to Agios Prokopios and to Naxos town daily.

Absolutely loved it!

Beautiful grounds, great apartment and the general vibe was great. Pool area was relaxed and brilliant views. Cats were very cute.

The walk to the bus stop wasn’t the greatest but not a lot that can be done. It’s possibly to be here without a car but I imagine it’s easier with.

Nowhere like it

Kavos Naxos ticks all the boxes — beautiful pool area, sunset views, great restaurant, helpful staff. But there's an intangible quality that puts it in another category, ahead of and apart from any other hotel we've stayed at in Greece (or anywhere, really). You can relax in a secluded area by the pool, hang out near the restaurant and be more social, or disappear entirely in the extensive terraced gardens or on the patio outside your room. The restaurant is consistently amazing with rotating specials and easily the best in the area; you can easily eat there every night and not get bored. Loukas, the general manager, is a genius at meeting every conceivable need you might have, and the women who run the restaurant are a delight. You may consider a car if you want to explore other sights besides the nearest beach. Agios Prokopios beach is a 10-15 minute walk, as is the bus stop, which only runs every half hour. But then again, maybe not — the first time we stayed, we ended up not leaving the premises for 3 days.

Charming, quaint and quiet

Quaint, quiet, cute apt w/kitchenette and our own patio facing the ocean. It had a nice outdoor restaurant next to the pool facing the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast but didn’t have enough in time to enjoy the pool or have dinner at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and manager Loukas was very helpful with suggestions on what to do around the island; we didn’t have any tours planned. He helped us get a rental car that they brought to the property which was great and so convenient! We explored on our own at our pace; one day all inland sites; next day all beaches, the port & boardwalk, Temple of Apollo.

Nothing not to like but it is near the beach, not on the beach. On foot to the one below Kavos, was only a 10-15 minute walk; then along the beach about 15 mins to the beach town of Agia Prokopios where all the restaurants and lil shops are located. Then the walk back to the apt hotel is a little over 1 mile? We don’t mind walking but if you want to get to places in Naxos, you can take buses everywhere but if you are short on time, best to rent a car. We almost did an ATV but it was super windy all the time (Loukas said it was unusual for this time of year).

A beautiful , really well run hotel .

This is a lovely hotel . The pool area , garden and restaurant are beautiful . The restaurant is excellent - the best meals we had in our travels . The accommodation was of a high standard . The roof terrace in the villa is a great asset . Loukas , the manager , is always present and extremely helpful . This is a very good hotel and I highly recommend it .

Lovely boutique hotel

Beautiful surroundings, very well kept garden. Comfortable, modern and clean room with a very nice private terrace. Great swimming pool (not a lot of sunbeds but quite a few other options to lounge). Staff was lovely and very professional. Excellent restaurant (risotto with beef was amazing!). It was a nice plus to have a little mini kitchen with fridge in the room so we could have our own breakfast on the patio. My kids loved all the adorable cats that roamed around the grounds.

It’s a little walk (approx. 10-15 min) from the beach and nearest town which is very doable but with younger kids not ideal (we did not rent a car). It was difficult to find a taxi in town in the evenings so we had to walk back in the dark on the narrow roads, using a flashlight to make sure the cars would see us. We were here during peak season so we paid quite a lot for the room. It would have been nicer if breakfast would have been in included. Breakfast is offered a la carte but we found it expensive (eg 10 euro pp for some yoghurt with a bit of fruit and granola) as is the restaurant overall as it’s quite premium. We did not find other nice restaurants very nearby so the alternative was in town where there are plenty options.

5 star experience staying at Kavos Naxos!

Absolutely everything. Such a charming hotel. Rooms were extremely comfortable and very big. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond at every step. Facilities were great and you couldn’t beat the location…close to everything! Definitely a 5 star experience.

Superb

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a superb spot for dinner with excellent views over the caldera. The attention and service from the wait staff is impeccable. The food is fresh and made on site. We had a villa which was very comfortable. The nearest beach is a very easy downhill walk under 10mins.

Good food, friendly staff but disappointing pool & room view.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The food was interesting & generally good.

Breakfast was good but the system of what was included in a prepaid breakfast was unnecessarily complicated - there should not have been extra charges for expresso & cappuccino or for a second coffee ! The pool was quite small for the size of the hotel & villas & the sunbed/sitting areas to small to relax at when lots of children about playing in the pool. The room did not have an outside space with a decent view which was a shame - the mountain view is really a not particularly nice bit of scrubland.

Excellent place to stay in lovely Naxos

Location fabulous. View is divine, rooms clean & comfy, pool lovely, staff super helpful, cats friendly, food amazing. Walking distance to beach & village. Anywhere else we got a taxi. We should have hired a car as taxis were expensive.

Beautiful oasis with the most welcoming staff!

Wow what a beautiful stay! My husband and I visited with our baby in June. The staff and hotel manager Loukas were absolutely amazing and so welcoming! The room was stunning with beautiful ocean views. We will absolutely visit again!

Quiet, peaceful, & beautiful place to stay in Naxos

What a lovely hotel in Naxos! We had a wonderful private villa. Beautiful gardens. Lots of cats! Breakfast by the pool each morning. Delicious food. Very friendly staff. Loukas, the general manager, arranged a rental car & bikes to be brought right to the property to rent. This is a very quiet & peaceful area. But very close to beaches. We did rent a car so we could explore easier. One beach was walkable but easier to drive.

Perfect place with amazing staff

Perfect location, accommodations, staff and restaurant. Was exactly what we were looking for - beautiful setting for relaxation, and close to beach/restaurants/bars (though we ended up spending a lot of time at the resort itself). Loukas was great and helped us with everything and really went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The whole staff was wonderful- and I dare you to find a better bloody mary anywhere in the world :) Would definitely stay here again on Naxos.

Wish we could've stayed longer.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. It was great to sit by the pool for breakfast and dinner. It was a short 15 minute walk to the beach and shops. Loukas was extremely helpful with organizing a rental car so we could maximize our enjoyment of the island for the one full day we were there.

Great relaxing beach holiday location in Naxos.

Loukas and his staff were excellent and we felt very looked after on our honeymoon. The pool/restaurant had plenty of seating and just an overall relaxing vibe. The food in the restaurant was really delicious, and the proximity to the local beach town meant we could walk there easily.

Fantastic hospitality and a resort you don't want to leave!

Loukas' team was fantastic! They friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home when we arrived. The grounds were beautiful with great views. Our villa was roomy and allowed our teen boys to spread out. Our villa had amazing views and was very quiet and peaceful. other guests that we met are repeat visitors to Kavos and we definitely understand why. When we get back to Naxos, we will definitely stay at Kavos. Photos were very accurate.

Highly exceeded expectations, and Naxos is a great island!!

This hotel is idyllic, beautiful, and run with a pure love for tourists and Greece. The General Manager, Loukas, is fabulous and provided amazing recommendations and then reservations and so much help to ensure we had a great time. This place is a gem!
