Location is great in the Forrest, house is perfect, the whole parc is beau

Pillows are completely worn out, and what made very disappointed was, that there is nothing in the house and they don’t give you the option to order this before arrival. A kit with some coffee or coffee filters, no salt and pepper really nothing. After a trip of 2200 km at arrival you need to go to a supper market to buy something. In the bathroom the trash can was still full of garbage of previous guests. What is missing misquote nets for the windows, what is really annoying, because in the night you have full army of misquotes in the house. Missing a washing machine for clothes although they have a place to wash, but only 1 Washmachines and 1 dryer were operational, so you have to put a bed there to wait until that one was free.

It is a peaceful resort with good transport connections not too far away.

There were unwashed items in the dishwasher and dirty items in the oven. Also the owner of the Brasserie was extremely unwelcoming.

Mooie, rustige locatie. Vlakbij Henschotermeer. Fijn met restaurant dichtbij.

The slide is pretty good, especially for its size. The property also has a lot of birds and the proximity to a beach is very nice. I quite appreciated the surroundings on site. Maarn is also a cute town that is conveniently accessible by a 30 min walk.

As soon as anything went wrong the entire experience went downhill. Staff refused to lift a finger outside of verifying that there was a problem. For us, we lost heating in our cabin plus our water. They sent someone right away who verified this and offered us a new location, but that was it. We received no help in moving our stuff, and we were told we still needed to do a full cleaning of our unit, stripping of beds, and take out the trash prior to changing. This threw off half of our day. Upon getting to our new unit we found it smelled strongly of wet dog. We informed the front desk who simply said “oh. Uh. Sorry about that.” No offer of another place. Alright, fine, we stayed despite the smell. Only to discover at 21h that there were no bedsheets provided. So we called the urgent number left and they gave us a location where we could walk to get them ourselves. The lack of appropriate customer service was astounding. I’ve never seen staff so disinclined to get up and leave the office to actually help customers. A couple other notes: the instructions on how to walk to the property are very very poorly described. I would not recommend this property to anyone travelling via public transit as I had to walk 30 mins along a narrow road with fast cars passing me. This issue applies to the property too, where cars will zoom past you because there is no proper walking path. Also, the pool is a bit sad and needs some more elements to make it fun. The lazy river needs to be a full lazy river, not just a small edge of the pool.
