Just a wonderful place to stay.

We loved everything about out stay - the hosts were fantastic as was the breakfast which was wonderfull.

There wasn’t anything to dislike - the shared bathroom worked out OK but I could imagine at busy times could have been a little inconvenient.

Beautiful Place to Stay

This is a beautiful house, very well cared for. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There are a lot of song birds in the area and it is a very quiet place to stay. The breakfast was divine with yogurt topped with nuts and some granola. Bread was freshly baked, meats and cheese laid out beautifully, coffee, and an egg. The breakfast room is very attractive. And the host carried our large suitcase up and down the stairs to the second floor where the rooms are located.

I’m not fond of not having an en suite bathroom so had to go down to the first floor to use the facilities and it is shared with the other guests, having said that it is a beautiful bathroom and we didn’t have to wait to use it during our two night stay. Ut’s a beautiful and historic house.

Very pleasant and peaceful stay.

Because we had a car, we purposely choose that place because we did not want to stay in the city. We were expecting a nice place but this was better than nice for us because it was an attached house and belonged only to us with a shared huge garden with perfect view and silence. You are really able to listen to the sound of silence there. Goose and swans by the house. Whoever is bored with the city that is a great runaway location with perfect owners beautiful couple Linda and Peter. Also there is no parking problem. That place was our final night in Denmark and we rested very well.

You must be prepared with food before you go to that place like all other countryside places in Denmark because you need to drive 10-15 km away to buy and when that time comes most of the places will be closed of course. Life ends around 17:00 there. That is it which is not so bad.

Superb

Very nice and elegant villa at 10 minutes drive fro Egeskov Slot. Big garden, nice and comfortable room, very well-furnished. We asked to have breakfast (optional, separate payment) and they arranged a very good and rich breakfast for us, accomplishing our wishes.

ATTENTION: there is no common kitchen for guests, it is wrongly listed in the accomodation services. - Because of the bathroom in common with other guests, it would be pleasant to have a mirror and a garbage basket in the room.

Topadres!!! Mooi huis, grote kamers, aangename tuin en heel vriendelijke eigenaars!

Alles! Mooie kamer, grote badkamer die we deelden met 1 andere kamer, megamooie en zalige tuin, zeer gastvrije eigenaars. We aperitiefden en aten ‘s avonds in de tuin, de eigenares had ons eten opgewarmd, dat was echt genieten! Neem zeker het ontbijt dat wordt opgediend in de veranda met zicht op de tuin. Voor slechts 12€ krijg je een uitgebreid en verzorgd ontbijt waar je in alle rust kan van genieten. Echt een topadres, jammer dat we niet langer konden blijven.

Manglede en overnatning- min kæreste gangbesværet og vi blev flyttet så der var toilet på samme etage. Renligheden i top. Morgenmaden samme. Skoene. skulle vi sætte i vindfang- ok, kunne være noterer, så hjemmesko kunne være medbragt- det havde været det hele værd. Hyggeligt og med kontakt til naturen

Overordentlig tilfreds

Morgenmaden var superb med hjemmebagt brød, græsk yoghurt med mysli og blødkogte og varme æg, brædt med oste og pålæg, æblejuice og frisk frugt, kaffe & te, ja, en drøm af et morgenbord. Hertil serveret i havestuen med udsigt. Vi nød det

Problem at vores toilet og bad lå nede i stuetagen ad en stejl trappe . Dog det blev løst daj jeg fik lov til at gå på toilettet på etagen om natten (jeg er 81 år og dårligt gående for tilfældet, så Tak for det😊)
