Sculptors Retreat

This little apartment is right near the center of the old town, on a rather busy road, with public parking just a block away. There is a fair amount of road noise so earplugs are recommended. It is a bit disconcerting to hear people talking right outside the kitchen door and they have no idea you can hear everything they’re saying. If you don’t find parking right near by, there are several other free places and some where you pay. The owner can advise you. We were there in October, so it wasn’t an issue. Through the back bedroom door you have access to a large garden and we had a visiting kitty who was very affectionate. It must be very nice in summer, although a light would have helped in the Fall.

This apartment is petit. There is no living room, but there’s an arm chair in the bedroom. The barstools in the kitchen are comfortable, but space is limited. In good weather, you could sit outside, as we did for breakfast. There’s a little bit of basic staples like tea bags, sugar and enough coffee for one pot, so either bring your own, or go to the market in town. Study the pictures of the unit carefully.

Diria que falta una mica d'infraestructura com un secador de cabell, paper de cuina...

La situation permet de visiter beaucoup d'endroits entre la montagne et la mer, l'Espagne qui est juste à côté. La ville de Céret est très agréable et les gens sont accueillants. L'appartement est bien équipé et est confortable. Notre séjour s'est déroulé l'été.

Il faudrait embellir l'endroit où se trouve la table extérieure que l'on a utilisé tous les jours aussi bien le matin pour notre petit-déjeuner et le soir pour dîner. Un manque de luminosité côté cuisine qui donne sur la rue.
