Overlooking the sea Santa Teresa Gallura

The hosts where nice. The apartment had everything you need. Location great, close to the city center and lovely beach (La rena bianca) but also has a private rocky beach great for snorkling.

Our holiday in Teresa Santa Gallura was about as perfect as we could have wished for. Our host contacted us before we arrived to welcome us, and very kindly offered to pick us up from the bus station & take us to the apartment. When we arrived (8:30 PM), she very thoughtfully offered to take us to the supermarket so we could buy what we needed so we could have breakfast. It was incredibly kind! They also helped us with our luggage & our shopping up to the apartment! The apartment was fantastic, with a view over the swimming pool and sheltered by the large pine trees so the kitchen and living room never got really hot, even with the shutters fully up. We had everything we needed to self-cater. Laura told us about the local market on Thursday, where we bought fresh local cheeses, olives, etc. What really made this apartment special was the location. It is a 2 minute walk to the square, where we went every evening to buy gelato from the best gelato place in town (recommended by our host: Gelateria Onda La G; a bright yellow building with blue signage); it is a 10 minute walk to the main sandy beach (3 euros); and a 2 minute walk down wide steps to the private rocky beach belonging to the complex. We walked to the sandy beach on our first day but after that we preferred the rocky beach as it was quiet, we rarely had to share it with anyone, you can get into the sea easily, and there are free loungers. You can also quickly pop back to the apartment for lunch! The swimming pool wasn't open while we were there (it opens 15 June), which we hadn't realised, but we didn't mind as we loved the rocky beach. You can still lounge on the comfortable loungers by the pool on the green grass. For us it was the perfect time to be there: hot but not too hot, busy but not overcrowded.

Fantastic location short walk to town and great beach. Great snorkelling and place to relax at the cove, which we had all to ourselves. Very nice hosts. Apartment has everything you need.

Bed exceptionally soft, bad for my back - appreciate some might like it. Aircon in bedroom a bit noisy.

Our hosts Laura and her husband kindly met us at our arrival and gave us useful information about our stay and different options for sightseeing. The appartment was in very good condition and beautifully decorated. At this time of the year there were not many tourists, so we had a peaceful holiday in a beautiful surrounding.
