Hold on to your hats... we are a group of 8 bikers touring europe, croatia and bosnia... first of all this was the best value place we stayed at out of 17. the host are amazing and welcomed us like we are family. they could not do enough for us. we should have arrived about 8pm from Dubrovnic after visiting Mostar and Sarajavo. however it rained heavy for most of the day. we arrive at the mountain road in the dark (it was not a road but a track, and because of the rain it was mudy as hell. but we got on the pegs and went for it. a few tumbles and caked in mud nearly 2 hours later we arrive at the tom in the dark wih no light what so ever. we ate, drank some beer and turned in.
OMG, the next morning all the hard work of getting up the 16k track was worth it. veiws and picture post card views .. just amazing. there is no electricity up the mountain.. its all solar power only.. but we managed to charge what we needed and do what we need, never even considered it was all solar
the food was fabulos and plenty of it, great quality and authentic.. it was the best breakfast of the whole 18 day trip.. this place is a must visit.. whish we would have stayed for a few nights and explored the are in daylight and in the dry.
if i visit Bosnai again i will defo be back... the only negative was are abiliuty to get back down the mountian in one peice lol.. but we did and all the guys have talked about is the accommodation up the mountain Prokoško jezero Zlatna koliba.. we thank you for your hospitality and for looking after us. we would have paid double knowing what we know now..

Good location in the middle of the village and with tasty food (breakfast included, lunch or dinner ordered and paid separately). The place has a shared terrace and a enclosed "restaurant" area. The woman preparing the meals was very kind and we really enjoyed her food and coffee.
The apartment is very cold, especially during the night as heating is used only in the evening, which is inadequate and then it's completely off for the night. We told owners that it's too cold but they dismissed our complaints. There is only a toilet, no shower - you have to go outside and into a different apartment in the house to shower. There is no kitchen table, just a kitchen sink. There are small holes in the wooden floor to the other rooms, so you hear other guests like if they were next to you (could be fixed with an expanding foam or putty).
