We had our entire family over at this delightful retreat. The mountain views and experience were fantastic. Our family enjoyed this property. The place was well equipped for a family. We highly recommend staying.

The property is perfectly located between so many area attractions. Beech and Sugar mountains, Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock are all 20-25 min drive. Neat, clean home. Plenty of cozy blankets for chilly nights. Dogs had a great time playing in the pond/creek in the backyard. Kitchen could use some fresh pots and pans. If you’re a gourmet chef, you may be disappointed but an average cook can do well! Overall we had a lovely time and would stay here again!

My husband and I came here with our two grown sons, my mother, and our dogs for Christmas vacation and to snow ski on Sugar and Beech mountain. Everything was beautiful. It’s a beautiful home, yard, and landscape; a quaint little town that was covered in snow on one of our first days here!
The owners were very responsive when we arrived late at night and the heater and hot water weren’t working. They were quick to solve it the next morning and refunded our first night!
The master has a large walk-in closet with plenty of hangers. They also supplied lots of towels and wash cloths!
We absolutely LOVED the couch. It’s like a big bed that the whole family can pile up on to relax or watch movies, which we did in front of the fireplace and we will be looking for one of these couches when we return home!
Besides skiing, we also enjoyed shopping in Boone and Blowing Rock both the resale and new shops. We attended church on the weekend, and we also were able to travel one day to Gatlinburg.
We give this a five star review and would stay here again.

Absolutely loved the house and location. The views driving in and leaving were spectacular. I'd recommend doing the grocery shopping prior to getting to the house to eliminate any last minute runs back to town. Overall it was perfect for what we wanted. Definitely would recommend.....
