Lavender House 2 - Agios Nikitas

Our stay at Lavender House was truly wonderful. The villa was very comfortable with a covered terrace providing sensational views over the ocean and the town of Agios Nikitas. The private pool was very welcome after a day at the beach. Hosts were super friendly, providing great advice about restaurants, beaches and other places to visit.

The villa is situated quite high up on a hillside with steep access meaning it would be challenging to walk into town or to the local beach. However this has the plus side of providing superb views, especially of the sunset. Once we figured out parking locations and the narrow road (with our rental car) it was not really a problem.

Location and views were amazing. Hosts Giannis and Korina were very friendly and helpful, as they gave us some shopping advice upon our arrival and then also advice on places to visit. The house was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Hot water was enough for four people. I would strongly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate staying there next time I visit Lefkada

Cutlery and kitchenware was a bit short, more light to the kitchen could help at night. All in all very small issues that don't affect the wonderful experience.

C'est une belle villa, la vue est magnifique que ce soit de la piscine ou de la terrasse, les chambres sont joliment décorées. Les hôtes son accueillants et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes. Propreté du logement 10/10. On a passé de très bonnes vacances sur l'île de Lefkada, notamment grâce à ce logement. Environnement au calme.

Dans la cuisine, un grille-pain et quelques couverts supplémentaires seraient un plus.

The views and sunset were amazing,

Unfortunately facilities were not up to the standard that we expected we had just spent 10 days in two other types of accommodation on the same island one of similar price and one which was cheaper. We gave them both 10 out of 10. So we had a comparison i think maybe being the end of the season, things felt a bit tired , the bathroom smelt of damp the air conditioning didn't work in the bedroom and the fan that we had to put on kept us awake. We had to go outside to turn the water on and request that we had hot water the shower head did not work and the pool did not feel filtered.j
