This beautiful home was perfect for our large family gathering. There was lots of open space to be together plus lots of separate spaces to play a quiet game with a cousin or two. No matter where you went in the home the views were spectacular. The bedrooms were large and roomie and done with excellence. We had everything we needed and then some. We plan to book this again for our next family gathering and would recommend it to anyone. It was well worth the price.

It was a unanimous verdict by all family members that this was the best location we have had for our many family reunion trips. The house had room for everyone to have a bedroom, with great communal areas. House/kitchen was the well equipped with everything needed. Boat launch close by. Kids were in the water all day or on a boat, kayak or fishing. Great place!!

Upon arrival, one of our group commented that this property was as close to heaven as she could get in this life - lake, water, family. The property was ideal for our group. From water activities to games around the table to early morning and late night chats on the deck, the property was perfect. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets framed the spectacular night sky and stars. The beach was clean and wonderful for water activities (we had two boats and a PWC). Access to space in the garage to sort through our toys was a bonus. The property was well equipped for our stay, including some water toys supplied by the hosts. The pictures and description on VRBO accurately depict the home and we were honored to have the opportunity to experience the property. We would love to come back someday.

I’d rate this 4.5 stars because the access to the beach area is pretty difficult. We had a few adults in our group who couldn’t do it. Children would have difficulty too. The dirt road to the house is narrow and our cars were covered in dust even going super slow. I’m still giving this place 5 stars on the official rating because it’s gorgeous and clean with windows lining every room with a view of the lake. Rooms are spacious with nice linens, nice thick towels and plenty of king beds and bathrooms. Plenty of dishes and silverware. We loved the place! Some negatives/ suggestions I have for the owner or future guests who plan to cook a lot (and it’s very remote so plan to cook!!) you need some large bowls (there’s nothing to serve chips or a large family sized salad in), there are no muffin pans and only one cake pan. Also beware of the fan over the stove- every single person in our group hit their heads at least once because it’s in the worst possible place to cook if you are over 5’8”! The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work but luckily we always bring our own table top ice maker because that seems to be a common thing in rentals. Bring ice trays or bags of ice! None of this made our experience bad but I like to let others know what to expect.

Our family had a great getaway stay at this house. Beautiful view from almost every room in the house overlooking the Columbia River. The house is clean, spacious, and nice for a large family retreat. Our stay was during the winter and the unplowed road made it difficult to reach the house, two of our cars did not make it all the way. Overall, we enjoyed this beautiful place.

Where to begin. This majestic home is even better than the photos show. You and all your guests will be transported to a to an enchanted getaway deeply nestled in nature. With a min. walk to the water, this location is the perfect sport for rejuvenation and reconnecting with nature. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. We needed items shipped ahead of our arrival and they made sure to put those items aside for use (2-3 deliveries) The home is spacious and the views are priceless. If we come out this way again, we will be going direct to Lake Roosevelt's Whitestone Rock Retreat. A+++

We had an amazing time with our friends and family for a five year wedding anniversary reunion. The location was great, very beautiful views out of every window. We loved hanging out on the beach and the big kitchen was great for preparing communal meals. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is just as described, plenty of rooms and accommodated our group of 20 perfectly, mix of bunk beds and master suites. Gorgeous views almost from every room! Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Keith is easy to get ahold of and very helpful! The property is very very private and secluded. You get to see lots of stars at. The beach access was tougher for younger kids (<8) but everyone managed to get down with help. You can park your boat at the beach and walk up. You can also fish from the beach area which was nice, pretty easy to catch fish in that area. Overall awesome property!

We have a great time at Lake Roosevelt’s Whitestone Rock Retreat. The views of the Lake adorned every picture window. Despite the swallowed beach, we were able to enjoy the Lake by renting a few pontoon boats. The two kitchens were appreciated, the three master bedrooms had everything you needed, the game room & firepit kept everyone entertained and it was perfect for our huge family. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Amazing views

Amazing views

This is a beautiful property with amazing views of Lake Roosevelt. The house had 3 masters which was perfect for our party of 3 families. The house does not have blinds so come prepared if you don’t want to rise with the sun. Otherwise the house is well stocked with everyday items. The walk to the beach was a bit more challenging for our crew of littles but wouldn’t be bad for older children and adults. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit again!
