Prachtige accommodatie met heel lief personeel. Mooie tuin met zwembad.

Alles was goed

The property itself was very beautiful: a good-looking house, a lovely garden, a good pool, and a lovely place to relax outside. There are many nice spots to sit and chill. The breakfast was tasty. Also, the property was easy to find. With check-in, we got some tips for Essouria!

Communication was unclear, both via text and in person, due to little knowledge of the English language. The first day we didn’t know how late breakfast was; we tried booking a hammam and it would be confirmed, but we didn’t get one. The next morning, when we came down and had already made other plans, we were asked if we still wanted the hammam. Also, with checking out it was a little bit unclear, so we just left the key with a housekeeper and left. There also was a problem with cockroaches in our room the first night. We are aware that it is normal in the countryside that there are cockroaches outside, but we don’t think it’s normal for those cockroaches to come into the rooms on multiple occasions. They did help us by moving us into a different room and helping with checking if there were any cockroaches there, so that was very helpful. They also gave us a spray that kills cockroaches in case we see them again. The reason we put it in the review is because the next night different people checked into our first room, and they had the same problems as we had. So they didn’t fix it, even when there are multiple easy ways to get rid of them quickly. The last morning when we had breakfast, there was a cockroach upside down on the terrace, still living and trying to get away. The staff saw this but didn’t do anything; they just walked past it multiple times and even sat us down a few metres away from it.
