About this house rental
This jewel sits ON the Tanglefoot Trail in New Albany, Mississippi. Downtown restaurants and bars, coffee shops, and boutiques are very short (0.4 mi.) stroll up the Tanglefoot Trail! This single family home (not a duplex) has been exquisitely restored to its original outside character and beautifully renovated and decorated on the interior. Vist Ole Miss and Elvis' birthplace in neighboring towns of Oxford and Tupleo, or visit William Faulkner's birthplace and museum in New Albany!

The space
The Tallahatchie Townhouse is designed with a contemporary interior but still carries the old charm on the exterior. The yard that surrounds the entire home with parking for 2-3 cars in the front and parking for 1 car on the side pad. Plus, additional parking in the back, if needed. The entire property is very spacious and open. Included in your stay is complimentary access to Netflix, Smart TVs in all bedrooms & living room, and the only listing in New Albany that is located ON the Tanglefoot Trail. Enjoy a glass of wine, or just relax, on the spacious front porch or back yard.
Guest access
Guest are permitted to access and enjoy all areas of the house. Parking in New Albany is abundant, so you can park and walk around the Downtown area during your stay or easily drive anywhere in New Albany. It's very easy to get around!
Like most other Airbnbs in New Albany, the Tallahatchie Townhouse is located in a developing neighborhood. Since the development of the Tanglefoot Trail, there has been a lot of growth in the neighborhood. Our caretakers live next door, and we have several other properties in the neighborhood. So, you may see some houses and buildings under re-developement.
If you're looking to move to New Albany, there is a very nice, new development across the Tanglefoot Trail and to the right (if you're standing on the front porch of the Tallahatchie Townhouse).

Guests will receive a unique access code prior to check-in on the day-of their arrival. The living room and both bedrooms have a flat screen tv with YouTube TV installed and logged in so you can watch live television.

This place is absolutely beautiful, incredibly well appointed. It is well stocked with personal hygiene items, clean linens, kitchen a coffee items, and an impressive collection of device charging stations! It is a short walk to cafes and restaurants and is literally a few steps off the trail! They have truly thought of everything here! We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to this trail!

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Quick and easy check-in. The house was clean with plenty of linens/towels. Location is close to walking trail and around the corner from a great restaurant. We would definitely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Tallahatchie Townhouse. It was clean and comfortable. We particularly liked how the owners have updated the house with modern features and such while retaining enough of the old construction of the house to keep its vintage flavor.
