It’s on the top floor, so the view is magnificent! It was clean, uncluttered, and thoughtfully organized. Thank you for the heating, much appreciated. Excellent shower.

I didn’t mind this, but some might not like that there are 5 flights of stairs to carry your luggage up. If you are older, or have mobility issues, you should arrange to only take a small bag of what you’ll need. Once you’re at the top, it’s totally worth it, because the view is amazing!

Lovely apartment in a great location.

Antonio, the host, was very easy to contact via the app - he responded quickly and answered my questions. The property was in a fabulous location in the centre of Domfront. Because the apartment was high above neighbouring properties it was not affected so much by the heat coming off them and could take advantage of any little breeze. The property was nicely decorated, the beds comfy and it was very clean. We really appreciated the coffee machine with supplies so that we could make ourselves decent coffee for breakfast. Our bikes were stored safely out of sight in a cupboard under the stairs.

It didn't affect us, but potential bookers should be aware that there are 62 steps up to the apartment.

Great place to stay.

Right in the heart of Domfront, fabulous location. The flat is really comfortable and well fitted out.

Heating was off when we arrived so it took a little time to warm up after a cold day. The church bells kick off at 7am on Sunday, just be warned. Needs a cafetière.

Perfect stay in gorgeous town!

Amazing location in beautiful town. Easy free parking, comfortable apartment with beautiful light and views; comfy bed, big Netflix tv and very functional kitchen. Quiet except for church bells! Responsive and friendly host. Easy check in/out.

Three flights of stairs might be an issue for some.

Great place to explore Normandy

Location is perfect to explore Domfront and other places like Mont Saint Michel and Bayeux. Free parking is close to the flat. The bed was very comfortable.

The only problem was poor soundproofing. You can hear the neighbours very clearly.

Great stay in a superb apartment, sadly spoiled by noise.

Really nice apartment in a great location. We’ll equipped and tastefully decorated with superb views of the old town and beyond.

Noise! Unfortunately there was major building work being carried out in the apartment below which we were not made aware of when or after we had booked. This went on until 7pm on our first day there. I contacted the owner of the apartment, Antonio, and to his credit he did respond quickly and got the work stopped at 5pm on our second day, but it somewhat ruined an otherwise great stay. The sound proofing between the adjacent apartments could also be improved upon.

Fabulous

The flat was immaculately presented; very clean, spacious rooms with tall doorframes, beautifully decorated and all kitchen equipment looked brand new. Comfortable beds and a fab shower. Wonderful views all around.

The beautiful Byzantine church is very close and its bells strike every 15 minutes (but not between 22pm-7am).

An enjoyable stay in a very pleasant apartment. Although, it could be even better!

Spacious, bright and comfortable apartment in the centre of the town.

The initial method of entry was more complicated than indicated on booking.com, as entry codes for the main keypad were provided via a pdf on an internet link - which was made more stressful as we ended up arriving in the dark and in a rainstorm! The hall and stair lights are also on very short timers, which didn't help when trying to understand the combination apartment door knob! The flat actually has a great deal to commend it, both in style, comfort and size, as well as its central location and we enjoyed staying there. Although there is still room for improvement, as the built-in kitchen cupboards (which house all of the appliances rather awkwardly) felt a little DIY and 'work in progress', as did certain items in the WC and the shower cubicle); the chairs and stools in the living space are smaller than usual and therefore, whilst they look trendy, are actually not very comfortable; a couple of additional chairs in the bedroom would be helpful when changing; and, lastly, the sound-proofing between the adjacent apartment is, perhaps, not as effective as it might be!

Great place to visit while travelling across the bottom of the peninsula.

Excellent location & views over the surrounding countryside. Very clean and well fitted out. Extremely comfortable bed! We had secure overnight storage for our bicycles and were able to check-in early when we arrived.

Not a problem as such, but brace yourself for many stairs as it’s a top floor apartment. Could do with display of wifi details (we couldn’t get connected even after contacting the property manager). And one essential- a corkscrew please!

Cet hébergement est une belle reussite de rénovation et transformation d'un bâtiment administratif en gite de vacances. Belle harmonie entre ancien et moderne, murs, pierre, tapisseries, sols, parfait!

Hélàs, Monsieur le propriétaire, avez-vous testé la fonctionnalité interne de votre logement? en présence de l'occupant contigu du palier? j'en doute! car de l'arrivée le soir du voisin jusqu'à son départ le matin, c'est la vie en commun! bruits dans la cuisine, séjour, paroles, pas, télévision, rires, échanges verbaux, fonctionnement des appareils, (l'expresso de 5 heures... la douche...., la chasse des toilettes... même l'odeur des cigarettes venant de la ventilation WC... on entend tout et on sent l'odeur de vos cigarettes surtout pour un gite non fumeur!!! Désolé avec tout le respect que nous vous devons, mais pour nous, un super gite gaché par ce gros problème interne de cloisonnement ne peut que justifier cette mauvaise appréciation.
