Centrale in Tropea

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this apartment truly deserves one. We stayed here for three nights. Antonio welcomed us on arrival and took the time to explain everything about the apartment and how everything worked. The apartment has been completely renovated and is in excellent condition. The air conditioning cools the entire place very effectively, which is absolutely essential during the summer in Tropea. There are also fans available if needed. The apartment has one comfortable double bed and two very comfortable single beds—not sofa beds—which made a real difference for a good night’s sleep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with bed linens, towels, and large bath towels for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare simple meals—or even more elaborate ones. The refrigerator and freezer are both spacious. A nice safety feature is that everything powered by natural gas is located outside, minimizing any risk in case of a gas leak. The apartment also has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The location is excellent: only a 5-minute walk to the historic center and about 8 minutes to the main beach. There is also a beach umbrella available, which is incredibly useful because the summer sun in Tropea can be intense. In short, the apartment is immaculate and perfectly prepared for a wonderful vacation. As a welcome gesture, the owner had stocked the refrigerator with soft drinks, fresh fruit, and even provided delicious coffee. We will definitely return to Tropea—and to this apartment. One final note: don’t let the exterior appearance of the building fool you. Once you step inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

A/C was in the living room, but each bedroom had a standing fan to help out
