Although my flight was delayed and I arrived much later than planned, the host and her husband warmly welcomed me without any problem.
Since it was not a hotel, I was a little worried about how to tell the taxi driver the exact location. However, the host kindly gave me their phone number, spoke directly with the driver, and I was able to arrive smoothly.
During check-in, we had a nice conversation, and I found out that I was their first Japanese guest. The couple lives on the floor above the guest room, so I felt safe knowing they were nearby in case of any issues.
I hesitate to describe all the details of my experience, because if someone were to expect the exact same hospitality and didn’t receive it, it might unfairly affect their review. The thoughtful gestures I received were, as we say in Japanese, “ichigo ichie”—a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. I believe each guest will have their own special moments here.
This time, I visited alone for work, so I didn’t have much time to relax and enjoy the sea view. Next time, I’d love to return with my family and take things more slowly.

The owner, lady, has super nice hospitality, warm welcoming.
The apartment is super clean and has space and required household items.
The location is in walking distance to the Vathy port/downtown, 1 minute to reach a small beach for morning swim (beach is not a place to stay all day)
