About this house rental
Our version of an English cottage in the Northwoods! Spring Ridge cottage is on mostly wooded 7 acres, only 5 miles from Hayward, 4.5 miles from Casino. Private dock on Spring Lake ( across County Rd E ), great for fishing, floating, or canoeing/kayaking. There's a public boat ramp 1/4 mile away, and in the middle of the lake is a public island for picnics. Spring Lake is a small, no-wake lake known for good northern, bass, and bluegill fishing. Larger lakes holding walleye, muskie and other species are just minutes away.
Amenities include a lakeside dock, attached lakeview deck, fire pit, screened in porch, and large back yard to relax around.
With 7 acres to roam, you can exercise your pet off-leash if you choose. Dock side, there is picnic table & outdoor seating for enjoying the lake scenery.
While this rental includes only the upper level, the downstairs has a washer, dryer available to renters, but will not be what we would consider living space for this season - We're using it for personal storage.
A pontoon boat is available for rent. Contact host for details.

Great location, 5 minutes from Hayward. Spring Lake's fishing is great, mainly panfish. Pontoon was well-maintained. House was perfect for us. 4 adults, 1 20 month old and graciously Gregg allowed us to bring 2 dogs. The wash machine and dryer was a huge perk. Didn't have to bring so many clothes for our week stay meaning we didnt go home with a ton of dirty clothes. House is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed just had to bring our food and beverages. Beverage fridge was a nice perk too. Gregg...I can't say enough amazing things about him. He was very helpful prior to our visit making sure we had items like firewood and something as minor as windex to wash the patio door. 20 month old and 2 dogs with nose prints, need i say more. He was always just a call or text away and responded quickly. We have been to many Air B&B/VRBOs and we give Gregg and his beautiful property a 10/10.

The cabin was great, it was wonderful to sip my coffee and enjoy the sunrise over the lake in the morning. The only thing that is a little misleading in the pictures is that the dock and lake are across the road from the cabin, but it’s not at all a busy road so wasn’t a big deal.

The English Cottage had large spaces in the kitchen and living room. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics to cook and fridge had a ice machine. Great deck to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We took advantage of the pontoon rental and enjoyed a peaceful day on the boat. Gregg the host was available for questions and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and our pup enjoyed it as well!
