About this house rental
PRIVATE, GREAT LOCATION & COMFORTABLE
Discover comfort in this serene studio suite featuring a soothing ocean theme. Perfect for both work and leisure, it includes a cozy living area, a walk-in closet, and a fully equipped kitchen. The private bathroom is conveniently located just down the hall.
Enjoy the backyard with its gas BBQ, trampoline, tables, chairs, and rope swings. With groceries and a regional mall just blocks away, and Seattle only 15 minutes away, you’ll have everything you need right at your fingertips.
THE PROPERTY - The studio apartment has high-speed internet for your use as well as, a Chromecast TV system for your enjoyment. There is a lovely coffee table and a couch that can double as a bed. In addition, there is a movable desk that can be utilized for work.
The home is kept in an environmentally friendly state as much as possible, including sustainable cleaning products and bath soaps, LED lighting, and more.
The studio has access to laundry facilities with a washer/dryer.
SHARED SPACES - Shared spaces include the laundry (accessed through the back entrance by the owners, only after your approval) and, the backyard.
COMMUNITY - The surrounding neighborhood and community is very quiet and has a nice children's park just a few minutes away within walking distance. Close to retail, restaurants, grocery, civic, and freeway entrances.
GUEST ACCESS - There are two private units on site. They are your unit, "the Alderwood Nest", and the separate upstairs unit called, "The City Escape". Both the upper and lower units have separate entrances and only share the backyard as mentioned above. Both units have access to two free and dedicated parking spaces. (More on-site parking may be available on request)
Additionally at the property, when in town, the owners will park their RV nicknamed "Breezy" to the side of the property, in a dedicated RV space.
All guests have full access to parking, and both the front and back yards with a BBQ, 2 patio tables, swings, and a trampoline.
INTERACTION - We are one short phone call or text away. We will be available at any time for questions or concerns. As well, we are available to answer any questions you might have about the home or the area before you arrive.
NOTE - With two units, one on each level, there may be some noise transfer, especially from the second floor down to the first floor, since this is a standard house and not a hotel that is made to block noise transfers. We appreciate your understanding of this.

The property was okay. It was a little different than what we're used to. The upstairs above what we rented is very loud. If anybody is walking or talking up there. We were very surprised at how loud the footfalls were. The acoustic ceiling tiles in the unit we stayed in are all sway back and look to be ready to fall out. The silverware that I went to use need to be rewashed. You couldn't control any of the hot or cold, which isn't usually an issue, but it is winter in Seattle area. Property Manager was very responsive when I had questions, which was very nice. Overall, like I said it was ok but I would say middle of the road.
