About this house rental
Come discover our secluded, self-contained sheepfold, nestled in the heart of the garrigue, facing the sea and just 10 minutes from everything!
Located between La Palme and Port-La-Nouvelle, in a nature park, with Mount Canigou on one side, the sea on the other, and garrigue stretching as far as the eye can see all around.
La Bergerie features a large, bright 70m² living area with whitewashed walls. Here you’ll find the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen.
The terrace facing the garrigue is equipped with a BBQ and features a large dining table shaded from the sun by reed screens, as well as a bench area with cushions and a sunshade.
On the sea side, another terrace welcomes you with a view of the sea and the garrigue stretching as far as the eye can see.
3 bedrooms:
Ocean-view bedroom – on the first floor, with ocean view, 160cm bed
Scrubland-view bedroom – on the first floor, with scrubland view, 140cm bed
The two ground-floor bedrooms share a bathroom and a toilet.
Large bedroom – upstairs, with views of the sea and the garrigue, 160cm bed, private bathroom, and toilet.
La Bergerie is accessible by car via a private road that also leads to a stone quarry (operating only on weekdays) and a wind farm (no noticeable noise pollution from the house).
La Bergerie is “off the grid”—self-sufficient. Solar panels generate the necessary electricity, and a spring supplies the house with water, which is treated with an UV system to make it potable.
La Bergerie includes all the necessary equipment… and more: a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, steam oven, coffee maker (bean-to-cup), beer tap, ice cream maker, picnic and beach aperitif supplies, sunshade, umbrella, yoga gear, meditation cushion, fishing rod, sound system, pétanque set, Wi-Fi… and an outdoor shower located in one of the olive trees!

- Beaches: Leucate Plage (20 min), the wild beaches of La Palme (5 min), La Franqui (15 min)
