The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Gran Via de Les Corts avenue and Plaza de España.



The Space:

Welcome to this 95 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, the emblematic centre of Barcelona. Barcelona’s historic Example district is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 5 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:

- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed

- Bedroom 3: Bunk bed

The Neighborhood:

The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes away from Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanes avenue and in the very middle of Eixample district. This elegant, majestic boulevard was a showcase for Barcelona's bourgeoisie at the turn of the 19th century, and links the the whole Example district. The presence of Barcelona's finest modernista buildings makes this avenue a veritable open-air museum.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Plaza de España and Rocafort (Line 1).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça España. The cost is around 4.5€



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs



Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

We've stayed in this neighborhood before. Within walking distance to sights and great restaurants. Check-in was a snap. The door security app worked well. Kitchen was well appointed. Beds were comfortable. We had a minor plumbing issue that was quickly resolved. Great communication with management.

The convenient location is a tradeoff for the small, fairly dark apartment. PROS: It did have an elevator. It did have Ac in the living room and master bedroom. It did have a well equipped kitchen. The host was very responsive. CONS: The bedrooms.were tiny,and the beds were not very comfortable. The biggest issue was the key app that was required. I couldn't get the link to open in the VRBO app on my phone, so we had to manually type in the URL. Then the Akiles app for the key wasn't very intuitive, and it took three of us to figure out how to open the doors.Then you need a phone with service to act as your key... so heads up if not everyone in your group has service. figure out phonr

This place was fantastic and convenient! We travelled with family, and access to a lift/elevator and proximity to the train or buses, groceries and dining options around the area were excellent. Great kitchen and dining area made it really comfortable for our 9 night stay. This is a great location to base yourself, while very quiet and safe in the area. Communication from the management team exceeded expectations and was really happy overall. Would absolutely recommend!

The property is spacious and easily accessible but poorly managed. No one checked with us during our stay. The bunk bed wobbled and screws were missing - our son could not sleep on top. The kitchen lights flickered and the TV and remote didn't work (Netflix), the toilets didn't flush properly and there were not enough towels. We were there over a week, I would have expected someone to ask us if we needed something. Nothing. Do not recommend this place unless you just need a place to crash for a couple of days. I reported the concerns and they only thing the did was send a guy out with TV remote batteries. Asked about the other stuff, said he doesn't do that. Wouldn't recommend, pay extra and get a better place. This place needs a complete remodel and better management.
