Perfect house for Ironman Marbella!

Top of the list: the local host Carmen!! She is very welcoming and awesome to make you feel at home! We were a group of 8 people traveling to Marbella for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. Most of the Ironman activities were in Puerto Banus, so the house was perfectly located with a short 10min drive. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 on the top floor and 2 in the bottom floor) with a very large living room and a large terrace, so it’s perfect for a large group. There is free parking in the residence, directly in the street in front of the house. You can easily park 2 cars (more is possible but you may need to park further away from the house).

The main bedroom upstairs is very comfortable, but apparently the beds in the other 3 rooms are very hard. Probably time to change the mattresses. The house comes with washer & dryer free to use, which is very convenient for a long stay, however the dryer is not drying much. You’re better off drying your clothes outside on the rooftop or the terrace. Lastly, there is a large table outside which can fit 8 people, however inside the house this is not possible. You need to split the group in half with some on the sofa and some on the bar in the kitchen.

Its a lovely house! The whole complex is beautiful. Pool just round from the house. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating & helpful, they were available the full trip to help. Location is fine, you’re about 10/15 minutes away in an Uber from the central parts so not far at all. I would definitely recommend using Uber, it’s the fastest way. The house comes with all facilities, iron/iron board, towels, hairdryers etc. There’s a mini market just down the street to get all your basics, it’s about a 5/6 minute walk, also has an ATM machine. You’re about 40 minutes away from the airport, the owner kept in touch with me from landing to getting to the property so someone was there for us instantly to let us in & show us around. Downstairs rooms could do with a little bit of modernising but on a whole the place was lovely and exactly what we needed for our girls trip, the outdoor patio is great and upstairs you have another open bit which is perfect for sunbathing.

A great place to stay at a reasonable price, especially for being in sought-after Puerto Banús

The property comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests (with 3 double beds and 2 single beds). It’s set within a pleasant, secure compound and is conveniently located just a short distance from Puerto Banús.

The property feels a bit dated and would benefit from some refreshing, particularly in the bathrooms. While the common areas were comfortable and clean, the bathrooms could use a more thorough deep clean to meet expectations.

Just perfect

The property was absolutely gorgeous and had been perfectly finished with lovely furniture and decor. It felt like home from home. It was so well equipped and we didn’t want for anything. The location was great. So easy to get Ubers everywhere. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun loungers.

Mooie communiteit, goed verzorgd.

Een paar tipjes: er stonden vuile glazen in de kastjes en er zat nog vuilnis in de vuilnisbak in de tuin. Maar verder schoon en netjes genoeg.

Il soggiorno è stato condizionato negativamente dalle condizioni di pulizia della casa.

La casa è ampia e spaziosa con spazio esterno e terrazzo ben attrezzati. Collocata in un residence silenzioso con possibilità di uso di due piscine. La disponibilità della Sig.ra Carmen molto apprezzata. In casa si trova tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno.

La casa ha bisogno di una manutenzione. Ciò che più ci ha disturbato è averla trovata molto sporca: lenzuola con peli e capelli, lo stesso nei cassetti degli armadi. Per questo una delle due stanze, posizionate sotto il livello stradale, non è stata utilizzata anche perché nel bagno abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio. Il sedile del bagno l'abbiamo trovato rotto, la Sig. Carmen il giorno successivo l'ha sostituito. Una di queste due stanze non ha finestre. Su nostra richiesta è stata fatta anche una ulteriore pulizia, ma non ha dato i risultati attesi. Si vede che la casa è molto utilizzata, proprio per questo richiede massima attenzione alla pulizia e alla manutenzione.

Die Gastgeberin war äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit ! Alle Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Ein sehr schöner Innenhof und eine tolle Wohnküche.

Die Lage ist ein bisschen abseits und ohne eigenen Wagen schwer zu erreichen. Da wir Mietwagen hatten, war das aber kein Problem.
