The Athenian Penthouse Residence - Central Escape

The residence was only blocks from where I needed to be which is why I chose it. Restaurants and grocery stores are easily reachable and transportation close by. The terrace was lovely to have coffee on or just relax. Eleni was a wonderful resource for any queries or issues from ordering a taxi to finding a great place to eat. Should I need to be back in the area I would stay here again.

The light in the hall sometimes cut off before getting the key in the key hole. That's pretty much it. The decor is cookie cutter but it was chosen for proximity not esthetics and you know what you're getting from the photos.

old building. smelly bathroom. no toilette paper is allowed to be thrown in the toilette

The host did a wonderful job stocking the place with everything we may need. She was also very responsive and helpful.

The only thing was that the location required either 34 minute walk to our destinations or 20 min bus rides. There was no outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer.

I highly recommend this adresse. The host is the best, from day 1 she was in close contact, helping me in detail with everything, literally everything, related to the house or my visit to Athens in general. The house is located in a safe lively neighborhood, I chose it first to be close to my work, but it was an amazing location even to be connected to the city center and all around! There are cafés, shops, markets around, and metro and bus stops not longer than 10 mn walk. The house was clean, spacious, big balcony, well maintained and decorated, and kitchen had all you need to cook at home. I would definitely go back if I visit Athens again
