Communication was good. Good directions, and how to access the property. -Location 5 mins from train and bus station. Bus stop 2 mins away. Close to shops bars, etc. Property was clean and tidy. Spacious It has everything needed, such as cooking utensils, Comfortable beds If you came by car there was plenty of space for a car. The access tunnel was not too bad, and the lights do come on. Overall, we loved our stay. I will look at staying again if we visit again. Thank you.
The courtyard area at the base of access strps was unkept. Would have been ideal if tidied, and there was either a couple of picnic tables or even some fold up chairs and table in the flat due to it being a shared area. The noise from above flat, we could hear what they were watching or listening to, even some of the conversations. However, this did not make an impact on our stay. Think both of the above may be slightly out of control of the owners due to the age of the building and the cost of soundproofing and shared space unless owners own the cottages as well Some fans in the bedrooms as it was a hot weekend. The bedrooms would benefit from curtains or blackout blinds.

A fantastic central location in the lovely town of Malton. Close to restaurants, shops and just a 5min walk to train station. Great space inside the property clean and great condition. Comfortable beds and bonus that it has parking.

The property was clean and had all of the facilities that we required - including a parking permit. We enjoyed the stay but the entrance was negative and not in keeping with the rest of the accommodation!
The entrance! This wasn't easy to initially find - it takes you through a tunnel under that apartment from the car park (right hand door in the first picture). The passage is dirty and could do with a good clean (second picture). The alternative entrance from the road is via adjacent properties and could also do with cleaning (but is public and not private)! Malton itself is a nice little town but the restaurants and pubs seem to be closed more than they are open! Very few open on a Monday and after 15:00, many close throughout the week! A real pity but obviously the footfall at this time of year is low and does not warrant longer opening hours.
