The moment we pulled up we were surprised at how beautiful the property and setting was. It is so quiet and serene. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. Some added perks were the popcorn and ice cream for us to enjoy. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. We were able to enjoy the fire pit and swing, watching the beautiful sunset. It was one of our most enjoyable stays.

We had an amazing experience staying at the Swiss Hills Cottage with my wife and two boys. Shelley and her family provided everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home. The cottage is in an excellent location and so close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Plus, it’s on their beautiful farm which they take care of very well. Also, don’t forget to try some of Oakley’s famous cinnamon rolls! Hand delivered to your front door too. We’ll recommend this cottage to everyone and look forward to going back again.

This rental is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. The porch overlooks hills, there is a great view of the sunset, and cows are mooing in the background. The house itself is very clean and has everything you need. The host is excellent at communication and provides a list of things to do in the area and places to eat.

My wife and I were greeted with a special Happy Anniversary message upon arrival at the cottage. This was a very sweet personal touch to make us feel welcome! All of the comforts of home were waiting for us in a relaxing location. The cottage was a wonderful get away. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 4th of July weekend. We had a very peaceful and private stay. The country scenery was picturesque. The house had just enough room and was perfect for a older couple. We spent a lot of time on the porch just enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. We also got the benefit of watching fire works beyond the tree ridge. We spent the last night at a dinner cruise on the Ohio River cruising Cincinnati on one side and Kentucky on the other. The cinammon roles were delivered to our door from Shelleys 9 yr old son Oakley which were so good! A perfect 4th of July getaway.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, so quiet and peaceful sitting out on the porch or by the firepit. We enjoyed our time so much, perfect for a nice little get away for a couple or small family. Wonderful views, gorgeous tiny cottage, super clean, and so many sweet calves roaming the field. Shelley, our Host was incredibly responsive and took care of everything to the tiniest of details. Oakley’s warm and gooey cinnamon rolls, that he personally hand delivered to our front door was the cherry on top! Loved everything about this place and hope to stay again in the future!

This of all the places I have ever stayed was my absolute favorite! Every detail was perfect, personable, and classy vintage. It had all the nostalgia I wanted to give my kiddos, and the host was so hospitable. The stay was so wonderful! I hope to go back and just sit in this cute little cottage - I came from a long ways away and I would do it again in a heart beat to stay here, the only thing I would change is more time just sitting and enjoying my time there (I had planned a lot of activities!) It was so perfect!

It not very often i meet someone that has a similar mindset to mine. This host thought of everything. I loved the fact that they had padding to use for the pullout bed. We all know sofa beds are not the most comfortable and they took this into consideration. Extra blankets and pillows- awesome. The whole set up this family is running is really amazing.
