Elounda Blue Waves

The Villa was beautiful- very clean and spacious. it had everything we needed for a lovely week in the sun. The pool overlooked the bay of Elounda and we loved lazing and relaxing as we whiled away our days. The Villa is situated a short way from local amenities so a car is essential. Elounda itself had many places to eat and lots of small shops etc to browse. The owners live onsite in the summer (above the apartment) and are Whilst we were there the owners could not have been more helpful or hospitable. There were basic necessities for us when we arrived at 3am so that we could make breakfast the next morning; which we really appreciated. additionally there was wine and beer which was a lovely bonus - (obviously not for breakfast….).

There was nothing we didn’t like.

A ground floor apartment, new, modern, excellent A/C, good facilities, comfortable. Great base to explore wider area. Wonderful views. Good value.

A few little things to finish internally (wires etc). It’s a reasonable walk to Elounda down hill and easy to get taxi back except no clear address which is a little difficult for taxi drivers have to direct to the adjacent hotel.
