Wassana and Khai were amazing hosts, the tent was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would 100% stay here again

The staff were so accommodating and the set up was a cosy family run units run by Wassana and her daughter and husband. They couldn’t do enough for us, we were a family of four from the UK staying with our daughters age 9 and 11. We’ve been traveling around Thailand for 3 weeks and wanted somewhere in the jungle basic but with all necessary needs. This place was 15 min walk from the centre we stayed 3 nights but, only walked to the centre on our last night as following busy day trips once we were back they fed us amazingly (accommodated for my husbands spice cravings and also for own youngest mild food preference). I still can’t believe how low the cost is for sleeping (mattress was lovely and a fab in the jungle is sufficient, there is no need for AC due to the cooler climate, still lovely and warm though) and then to include breakfast and dinner too was amazing value (see photos for food we eat here). We didn’t book any trips in advance we booked on the evening we arrived with Wassana and she really looked after us, if pre researched costs of trips so I know we got the best deals booking through her. The first morning we went on the full day trip to the NPark with caves, boats, swim, second day tubing in the morning (which is very safe for all, you hold on to each other and you have a guide for four people) plus the river isn’t really fast, it is beautiful, we was here in monsoon season and the rain definitely came down on us on the tube trip which added to the fun! And the accommodation warm showers soon sorted us out. Then in the afternoon we completed a cooking course with Wassana, 3 meals of our choice and it only cost us 1400B for the 4 of us but she did highly discount this as we booked all our other trips with her, there was so so much food all delicious I highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike other than this place should cost more to stay here and they are more than worth tipping.

Run by a lovely woman and her daughter who both went above and beyond for us. One of us was sick and they upgraded us to a private bathroom so she was more comfortable, good sized breakfast everyday, we payed 60 baht for a homemade dinner each night we stayed, she helped us sort out 2 activities, you really get 10x more than what you pay for and we will stay here again if we want to go back.

Plenty of sockets to charge your items, light and even a fan in the tent.

When we arrived, they informed us that they had some issues so they will move us to their new campsite. They gave us a ride, but it was a 10 minute walk from the original one. That was no big deal for us, but the new campsite ended up being still a construction site, so no nice jungle feel like in the photos. The tents were also really close to the road, so I could feel cars passing by really close to my head while sleeping, the location in general was really noisy and the mattress was super hard. It was cheap and we only stayed one night, but we got something very different from the listing.
