The host was great from start to finish. We had booked somewhere else months ago but unfortunately that host cancelled on us the morning we were due to arrive into Essaouira for the Gnawa festival. We booked Abd AlLatif's place just an hour before we arrived and the communication was clear and prompt.
He welcomed us to the apartment which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was on the edge of town but it's a very cheap taxi ride to the centre or a nice 30 min walk with shops and cafes and barbers on the way if you need it. I actually preferred being further away because it meant we were away from that noise of the medina and could sleep well.

Very responsive and helpful host. Good location away from the hassle of the city center and busy streets. The place is 30 mins walk from Medina and the beach.
Too dark lights in the rooms. There is no complains whatsoever.
