House was a great place to come back to after 10 miles each day of coastal path but as seasoned walkers we have stayed

Warm and great location

Manual for house had a blank page for heating information Multitude of switches in Kitchen and Boiler and Dishwasher switches not labelled Both turned off when looking how to turn lights appliance etc When in a new house for a short time Clear instructions in house manual are very important. Minimal supplies of soap and toilet paper Clean sheets but mattress toppers should also be washed occasionally as quite musty

BED BUG INFESTAION

Unfortunately, our stay at this property was ruined by a serious bed bug infestation. The bites began on the first night and continued each night until we left early. We reported this once we had a professional medical diagnosis, as we wanted to be absolutely certain before making such a serious claim. The property denied the presence of bed bugs and stated that a pest control specialist had inspected the home, yet no report or proof was ever provided despite several follow-up requests. Our messages have since been ignored. As a long-time Booking.com guest, I value transparency and accountability, but in this case, neither were shown. Therefore, I cannot recommend this property to fellow travellers.

Fabulous

Fairholme is a superb property. It is airy, spacious, comfortable, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with more than enough crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as provisions for every sort of cooking imaginable - including baking tins if you fancied making a cake. The 3 double bedrooms are delightful - especially the upstairs one with ensuite facilities. As a group of walkers, we found the location excellent - PORT ISAAC is approximately a 10 minute walk down hill into the town but probably nearer to 12 - 15 minute walk back up the steep hill. I would not recommend the walk to people with impaired mobility and although there is car parking outside the town this would need to be taken into account when choosing this property. The property does have private parking for 2 vehicles which is extremely useful especially as it is located on a quiet cul de sac without any through traffic. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - it was delightful and one of the best appointed rental holiday properties we have ever stayed in. PORT ISAAC itself needs no introduction - it is a most delightful Cornish coastal town.

The property met all our excpectations and did not disappoint in any way.

Near to village

Front door lock seized up couldn't lock it from outside had to use the side door to get in/out . Toilet door lock was falling off by the downstairs bedrooms. Island in kitchen had glass extractor fan very low could only use all four rings on hob if you walked round it to the other side !and kept bumping head on it "far too low"

Das Haus hat Flair und ist schon ausgefallen... Die Lage ist toll.. Alles hat gepasst. Für Hunde toll , da in unmittelbarer Nähe (am öff. Parkplatz) ein riesengroßer Hundeplatz ist.
