Central urban studio A

The location, the apartment, and of course our host Thanos were all great. We didn't meet him in person, but he was very attentive and helpful throughout our online messages. Overall, the place was very good.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The apartment is well located, with many restaurants and bars close by, and it is around 5 minute walk to the center and 15 min walk to Acropolis. Everything was within walking distance, which was great; plus, if you arrive by metro from the airport, it was a 5-minute walk to the metro station. The host got us the apartment available earlier, which we were very grateful for, and offered us a place to keep our luggage as we arrived in the morning. The communication with the host was super easy and friendly. The apartment was clean and well positioned.

The mattress is a bit used and soft; I would recommend changing it or maybe adding a topper. We were visiting during the week (Tue-Thur), and there were people having drinks below the apartment both nights until 2- 3 a.m. We didn't mind, but perhaps some people would prefer silence.

Location was exceptional, really central close to all the main bars and restaurants. The toilet was spacious, with a big shower. The room was big enough, with all the facilities needed. We read a lot of reviews complaining about the noise from the street, but actually we disagree, we were able to sleep normally.

The apartment overall was a bit dirty, with hair on the mirror. The bed is not comfortable, very soft with low pillows. The main area of the room is not luminous, probably because of a bad placement of the lights.

Location was good

Upon entering the room, we were bothered by the cigarette smell in the room and on the towels. Other than that, overall it was an okay stay for the price.
