Vila Hrastovi

This is a very clean and quiet property set on the hill of Sutomore. The bedrooms upstairs are comfortable, and one even has a balcony with a sea view. The roof terrace also offers beautiful views over the sea. The hosts were lovely, welcoming, and genuinely receptive when we shared our feedback. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The house configuration was a little unusual: there's no living room, and the kitchen on the first floor is separate from the bedrooms upstairs, so you need to step outside to get to it. A few amenities were also missing, such as a coffee maker, salad tongs, and matches or a lighter for the BBQ. The roof terrace doesn't have any shade, so we weren't able to make much use of it on sunnier days. Wifi reception was a bit spotty too, though this seems to be fairly common across Montenegro in general.

Vila Hrastovi is great value for money and provides everything you need for a secluded few days on the coast. The gardens are extensive and immaculate, and include many mature fruit trees that you can pick from. There’s also a bonus pull up bar and dip bars in the garden if you like. Furnishings & amenities are basic & functional, but gives you everything you need to stay close to the coast in a very private and quiet setting. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea below.
