Perfect place to crash after hiking in Itasca State Park since it is literally right outside the North entrance. The store and ice cream shop was adorable, the workers were very friendly, and the landscape looks well taken care of. RECOMMENDATIONS: an extra blanket would be nice, and highly suggest adding 1-2 sets of dinnerware; i.e. plates to use the microwave, utensils to eat heated food, etc. We ended up borrowing forks from the ice cream shop and that worked, but it would be nice if they were available by the microwave and coffee maker.

Very nice size rooms including the bathroom. Christine was very accommodating always checking to see if there was anything that I needed replenished. Very satisfied !!!
