About this cabin rental
Only 2 hours from the Cities, this lake home is eclectic, spacious and has stunning views of the sunset on clear nights! Because our family has owned this property for over 20 years it is a quirky layout of lake-love, craftiness, history-lovin, live-your-best-life kind of home. What's not to love?!
We want to share this beauty with you and yours because it has meant so much to our family over the years and it has so much to offer: 3 decks to gather on; a beautiful and funky garden; private dock and swim area; easy parking; and tons of birds and other wildlife.
FALL! Come for the colors and for the Grape Stomp at the Carlos Creek Winery. Come for the cool nights without bugs. Come for it all!
WINTER! We are 1/2 mile from Sate Park snowmobile trails and more. Ice-fishing on this lake is best early in the season; XC skiing in the State Park or just down the steps onto the lake is amazing;

The kitchen: Refrigerator/freezer, oven, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes (plates, bowls, glassware, coffee mugs), cooking pots, slow cooker, air-fryer, and baking dishes, island with elec outlets and plenty of room for food prep and/or entertaining.
The living room: Smart TV, giant couch, elec outlets throughout.
Sun Room: closing french doors for privacy, pullout couch
Dining Area: dining table with 4 chairs, 3 chairs at the kitchen island
Bathroom: sunlight ceiling, shower/bath combo, large vanity mirror
Bedrooms: queen bed (in both), bedside tables, outlets, sizable closets
Laundry: small washer and dryer, addt'l clothesline outside
Due to safety reasons, we are unable to allow access to the boat or the garage. The Marina next door can help you access anything you need for water play! Find them at https://www.lakecarlosmarinamn.com
Pets are welcome for an extra cleaning charge
