Palazzo Don Salvatore

I loved how at home the staff makes you feel! They are always so helpful! Ella recommended a pizza place we ended up going to twice! Her and her staff are so lovely. The bed is also extremely comfortable and the suite we had was so spacious! You are also a short walk to everything and the views are incredible!

The only downfall is the suite with the hot tub is right off the lobby. I never felt like it was too noisy though.

It was beautifully presented perfectly placed and well maintained! Well located to all walkable restaurants and sight seeing.

My husband and I spent 3 nights and 4 days here 2 weeks ago. It was an amazing experience/stay for all the following reasons, most importantly the very kind and most helpful hosts ever, Giuseppe and Andrea. 1. The location is excellent, about 200 m from the central bus stop. 2. The view from the rooms and the common balcony is mind-blowing: can see all of Amalfi town n the sea. Just gorgeous! 3. The best part of our stay was our very kind hosts at the property: Giuseppe and Andrea. The most fun, friendly and helpful hosts ever. Giuseppe is a star :) he contacted us many days before we arrived to confirm our travel plans, help meticulously with car arrangements from Salerno airport, informed about the internet speed/ and generally everything one needs to feel welcomed. Once at the property, the entire team arranged a small breakfast n yummy coffee for us despite us arriving much before check in time. Giuseppe was available all the time on whatsapp and just a text or phone call away to help us plan all our local hikes, help arranging drivers for our local trips/tours, helping with finding bus/ferry times n timetables and even checking on us when we did the Path of Gods hike to see if all was ok. He is just super kind and super helpful. Andrea has also been extremely helpful with trip suggestions, helping with all our breakfast arrangements, restaurant suggestions and generally being so kind, fun and friendly throughout. These two are the stars of this property. Also Daniella who just joined in has been a very kind and helpful host. The kitchen staff are also absolutely sweet. 4. The room is hugs, pretty with a huge bathtub in the centre of the room and generally very pretty and pleasant. 5. The espressos we had here are with a small rind of lemon: haven’t had those before and really must try. Breakfast is very fulfilling. 6. Very good wifi speed for those who need it.

Location is great. Room is generally okay. Good views and picture opportunities

Poor welcome feel. Nobody to help with bags. Was confused when I walked in if I was in the right place. AC in room was almost useless No privacy in shower in the shower. People can see you literally. Hot water didn’t work at night. No phone in the room.
