Steamboat 2

Excellent location in Thredbo and the unit was well laid out and comfortable

No washing powder / liquid provided (minor point to an overall great stay)

This property was very comfortable, convenient, clean and pleasant with a lovely outlook and easy accessibility to all the places at Thredbo that we wanted to be. Great place, very comfortable beds and great facilities. We would highly recommend staying in this very lovely apartment in any season.

The car park was a bit tight. We ended up being across two spots as it was a bit hard to work out exactly where we were supposed to be. We have a Honda Odyssey and it would have stuck a long way out of the spot that seemed to be for number two if we nose parked it in the spot and so we sideways parked it across the spot marked for number 2 and what could have been another car park. This was a bit confusing. It was also confusing to know whether Steamboat 2 was a separate building to Steamboat but in the end we worked out that it was a lovely apartment that was number 2 apartment of the Steamboat complex. We have not stayed at Thredbo before nor a place like Thredbo so part of our challenge may have been our unfamiliarity with this style of accommodation. It would also be useful to have better instructions for the TV entertainment system as we couldn't work out how to use it but this didn't hamper our stay.
