Sehr schön gelegen direkt an der Festung von Montecarlo. Besichtigung der Festung ist mit enthalten. Die Räume sind großzügig und bieten für 4 Personen genug Platz. Im Ort gibt es eigentlich alles was man braucht aber es ist auch ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Ein eigener Gartenbereich ist mit dabei, durch die Mauer aussenrum ist man da auch ungestört. Alles war sauber. Pier Luigi ist sehr hilfsbereit und ein wirklich netter Gastgeber. Für einen vergleichsweise günstigen Preis bekommt man eine schöne Unterkunft, die zu einer alten Festungsanlage gehört, wirklich etwas nicht alltägliches. Auch der kleine Ort ist sehr sympathisch, am Abend und am Wochenende ist einiges los. Auto ist zu empfehlen, es gibt viel zu erkunden.
Direkt außerhalb der Stadtmauern ist ein großer Parkplatz, der auch eine Lademöglichkeit für E-Autos hat.

Fantastic location in an ancient fortification that was carefully restored by the heir and his family. The chalet has everything needed for a comfortable stay for a family of 4. The friendly proprietor surprised us with a free bottle of local red wine and shared some historic facts of Montecarlo. It is located in a quaint hill top town not too far from Lucca.
The extra sofa bed was not comfortable and the place is not really suited for 6 adults. The kitchen utensils were somewhat lacking. Parking was restricted after 20h00 at night and we had to move our cars by then to the public parking area further away.

Logement spacieux. La maison est collé à la forteresse. C’est une chance de pouvoir séjourner ici! Il y a tout le confort! Même le canapé lit est confortable.
Les cloches servent de réveil matin…mais ça fait aussi le charme du lieu.

Väldigt bra beläget med närhet till allt. Och bästa restaurangen Ca Sandra. Kunde bli lite kallt i undervåningen och luftvärmepumpen stängdes ibland. Sammantaget en fantastisk vistelse och Luigi var en trevlig värd. Synd att vi inte hann titta på fortet.
