Pensiunea Agroturistica Casa Jucan

L'accueil incroyable de Symeon, Angelica, sans oublier Rita et Zen, les 2 petits pensionnaires du domaine. Que dire ? Gentillesse et bienveillance qui nous donnent l'impression de retrouver des membres de notre propre famille, domaine vaste peuplé d'animaux de la ferme et planté d'arbres fruitiers. Les bungalows typiquement roumain ont été conservé et préservé du temps. Nous avons eu le privilège de discuter longuement avec eux et de pouvoir visiter leur propriété et dépendances. Petit-déjeuner et dîner très copieux et d'une qualité incroyable. Angelica et Symeon fabriquent tout eux-mêmes, fromage, crème, beurre, yaourts, gâteaux, servent légumes du jardin et viandes prélevées par leur soin parmi leurs animaux les rendant entièrement autonomes. Une expérience fabuleuse si vous êtes dans le coin, honnêtement, n'hésitez pas une seconde. Mille fois mercis à vous deux pour ces moments de partage. Karine et Olivier

Absolument rien.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and the food and was AMAZING! Almost everything they served was homemade and/or locally produced. The portions were generous and the hosts worked around our desired meal times. The hosts speak English or French well and visited with us. Our room was decorated with authentic, traditional rugs and embroidery.

We just returned from a two-week trip mostly in the Transylvania area but we wanted to see the painted churches in Bucovina and Casa Jucan seemed to be a perfect location for that. We also wanted to experience life in the country. The hosts, Angelica and Simion, have restored three homes. We stayed in the one with the turquoise porch which was made into a duplex. We were on the right side. The room was large and comfortable--bed very comfortable. It was all furnished in traditional decor. We spent three nights there. It was very relaxing. We didn't get there until about 6 p.m. the first night after a long day of driving. We had made a dinner reservation in advance and were glad we did. Angelica had prepared a wonderful meal, everything home made including the welcoming libations! It was all delicious. It was wonderful to get to visit with Angelica and Simion after dinner and learn about their past and share ours. We're all pretty much the same age. Angelica is fluent in English and Simion in French. It was a very interesting conversation. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and VERY plentiful. We're big breakfast eaters, but Angelica would always come in and "scold" us for not eating everything. I had a cold most of the time and in all our stays, this was the only one that had a box of kleenex--I was very appreciative of that even though I had bought my own the first day. There was also a washing machine in the back room between the two units in the building. Wonderful to be able to do a load of wash halfway through our trip. And there was also a refrigerator in the hallway between the two rooms. Angelica also gave us a tour of the building they rent out for families. They had moved that piece by piece from another location and took five years to rebuild it. It was like a museum with all their decorations. It was a masterpiece. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Jucan if you're in Bucovina.

During my trip to Romania, one of the most intense and unforgettable experiences was being a guest at Casa Juan. The facts. There are four houses on a hill, one of which is the main one. I stayed in a room in the oldest building, which is slightly lower than the others. It enjoys a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The houses are built of wood in a traditional style. The peace is absolute. Among the animals there are cows, sheep and rams, cats, at least among those I saw. Then there are various crops. The food is unique, excellent, and is served in the beautiful dining room on an immaculate linen tablecloth, which I managed not to stain. The people. Angelica and Simion were two engineers who then chose to change their lives, taking over the property that had belonged to Simion's father. They are two kind people with a sense of beauty and justice. I hope that fate will bring me back to this idyllic place.
