Casa Mamre

We had a lovely stay at Casa Mamre. The location is great, with excellent public transport connections and the beach just around a 20–30 minute walk away. The house is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, making it a great base for exploring Maspalomas. A special mention goes to Francesco, the owner, who is such a lovely, kind, and welcoming person. He is very friendly, accommodating, and always happy to help. Casa Mamre has a warm, homely atmosphere, almost like being part of a big family! Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to spend with Francesco, as we already had our days planned out, but we truly appreciated his kindness and hospitality. I would definitely recommend Casa Mamre to anyone planning a holiday in Maspalomas. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming place to stay with a lovely host, book with Francesco, you won’t regret it!

Very unique place. A gem away from the typical tourists buzz and very inclusive with local culture. Good location to transport hubs. Francesco is an amazing and very welcoming host.

The hosts were friendly. The neighbourhood was ok. Plenty of cafes and shops nearby.

Very expensive for what it is. I was aware it is far from the beach, but the accommodation and room was extremely basic. Literally a bed and a rail. For 63 euros per night and given the far location I expected a bit more. The price has nothing to do with the carnival as I checked other dates are the same rate. I stayed in a nice hotel with a pool, tv and air conditioning much closer to the beach before. I booked last minute so I didn't have options as other places were booked up, but definitely too pricey. Otherwise it's fine, but the price range should be reconsidered or rooms should be updated.
