About this house rental
Merrill's Mariner is a classic Nags Head style beach house that has been beautifully updated and modernized without sacrificing any of its old-school beach cottage charm. Tons of indoor and outdoor living space and enough bedrooms (6) for your extended family or a large group of friends. For larger extended family gatherings, Merrill's Mariner is right next door to Grandma's Cottage and Papa's Place, both of which are also in the CVR program. All just steps from the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of Nags Head! Cook at home in the gorgeous and well-equipped kitchen or walk to one of several excellent restaurants nearby. For your privacy and convenience, the hot tub is just off the main living space on the screened-in section of the expansive wraparound porch. Walking distance to the Nags Head Fishing Pier and Dowdy Park/ the seasonal Dowdy Park Farmer's Market and a short drive to many local attractions like Nags Head Woods Nature Preserve, Jockey's Ridge State Park and the Wright Brother's National Monument.

Location was great, beds were comfy, but rugs were so gross that we had up roll them up. Couches were nasty too. A new couch and a few new rugs would do wonders for this listing. Also, most VRBOs provide linens, basic kitchen items and toiletries. This had nothing. Pictures on website are outdated.
