Outstanding for our 1 week stay in Carlsbad, very roomy and comfortable, all appliances you can need, New building penthouse with elevator, 3 sleeping rooms with independent bathrooms, two balconies with nice view of Colonade, piano and fireplace. Located on the tourists area, all sight seeings are just minutes away to reach. I'll absolutely go there again and can recommend it if you're traveling as a family or a group.

Although it had lots of positive points, some details take out the excellent rating: The entrance corridor has a bad smell. Light bulbs are very cheap and some flick Refrigerator has a very disturbing noise every some minutes (knock?? fireplace is sadly not working We also had a small issue with heating, I was unsure to write this, already reported and am sure it'll be fixed , to us was not inconvenient as I only had to turn it off and on again to fix

Spacious, modern, comfortable, apartment with lovely views in the center of the city.

Of the 3 bathrooms, only one was suitable for showering because of the lack of warm water, and only the first (short) shower was warm in the bathroom that was usable. The water would go cold during the second shower. In the other 2 bathrooms no warm shower was possible - even first thing in the morning when the hot water tank was full. This was inspected by our host, who did her best, but could not be made to work at the time. Unfortunately, this did have a negative impact on our stay with 4 people. Cash on arrival was expected, which we were not prepared for as the booking.com app stated (at the time) that this would be deducted by the property.
