Zirumake Tayrona Dentro del Parque Tayrona

We’re so glad we chose to stay here rather than trekking further into the park with our bags , it made the whole experience far more enjoyable. We extended our stay. The setting is incredible, and the wildlife alone makes it special. We saw so many birds, including parrots, which was amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t spot Vincent the monkey, but it was great to know that all the animals around are truly wild. A tip for anyone visiting: don’t walk from the park entrance, take the shuttle. It’s much longer than what we were told at the front office. The rooms were absolutely divine, and we were lucky enough to get upgraded from a shared bathroom to a private one. Also, the shower was honestly the best I’ve had on the Caribbean coast. The staff were exceptional and made the stay even more enjoyable and the little girl there is adorable. The food was very, very good as well. Yes, it’s more expensive than outside the park, but the quality more than justifies it. One thing that really stood out was the Wi-Fi. The fact that they have Starlink internet in the middle of the jungle is incredible. I was able to take a work call without any issues, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here in the first place. It didn’t disappoint. Even when the electricity briefly went out, the family quickly powered up a generator to get the Wi-Fi back on for my call, something I really appreciated. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Our youngest fell in love with Vicente the monkey — she begged to stay an extra night just because of him. The two beautiful blue macaws are equally captivating. The lodges are nestled right inside the jungle, with bugs singing day and night in the best possible way. The central open-air dining and hangout space is where the magic happens: that's where she played with the animals, where we met fellow travelers, swapped stories, and ended up playing card games into the evening. Super relaxed, unplugged energy. Being about 10 minutes walk from the paved road means once you're back for the day, you're truly in your own little jungle world.

Food is decent but nothing special — manage expectations there. The off-road access (5 min drive or 10 min walk from the main road) means you're committed once you're in for the night, so plan your day accordingly.

I loved the location and the calmness of the place. It is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It was good they provided towels

Room besides the bed only has a tiny table in so there is hardly any space besides the floor to put ones things. Would be good to have a few hooks on the walls. Sink in the bathroom is not working the only place to brush your teeth is near the restaurant.

Really nice place and for what you can get in tayronna park its pretty well priced! Simple breakfast and rooms but nice it was free breakfast! Rooms are concrete walls open at the top so you can hear everything but luckily for us we had quiet neighbors. Fan was enough to keep us cool :) About 25mins walk from the park entrance and then maybe 45mins to where the walking tracks start or you can get a mototaxi for 6k per person :)

As others have mentioned everything is extra but you are in the middle of a national park! Meals and drinks are a little more steep than we were used to, but again understood. Its 8k for 1L of water, 35-50k per meal and 15k for juices. They don't have a menu which is a little tricky when you want to know what prices you are committing to! But not a big deal more a heads up :)
