I was surprised at how nice this place was. The cafe there was also lovely and the wifi worked pretty well in the cafe (not the room). The area was secure and the staff was wonderful. In a city where accommodations can be extremely expensive, this place was a great find. I would stay again.

It would have been nice for the wifi to reach my room, but the fact that they had working wifi in the first place was good.

Quentin helped me with orientation and driver/guide contacts much before I arrived. This is beyond his services, but he did it as someone who cares for visitors (very few on the island), shared anecdotes, and also proactively sought feedback. Much appreciated at a place where very few speak English.

Minor glitches, mostly lost in translation.

First thing you should note, specially if your first time visiting Moroni, is that you should lower your expectation on available options. Having said that, this place is probably one of the best (if not the Best) in my view. I stayed in the suite and I really liked it. There is tiny kitchen, cosy living room and a decent bedroom. The place is artistically decorated. A humble, organic setup and structure. Feels friendly and peaceful. There is a restaurant on the site with limited working hours. A good to have as there are no other eating options around.

There is not much to do around the location, but that is a general fact in Moroni.

Well…the (closed) restaurant upstairs looked beautifully decorated.

They didn’t care. I confirmed arrival time and was met by a nice enough guy who looked after the grounds but didn’t speak any English, he called the manger to get the wifi code, and the manager said he was coming. 1 hour 45 mins later he finally turns up and asks “what do you want”. He then only gave the wifi for the closed restaurant not the one for the room. The actual room was ok, maybe smelled a bit of damp, it wasn’t especially clean. The location was a bit away from things, but possible to walk.
