Locarn Lodge, Goas Rep

We had a lovely breakfast, plenty of choice , cold meats, cheese, baguettes, orange juice , coffee, fruit and Madeleines,jam and coffee , and croissants, served in a cool outside area , which was very welcome as the temperature was 37C for two days The hosts, Anneke and Neil are wonderful hosts, both speak English as have other than French backgrounds, are well travelled , friendly and welcoming and so sharing of information and their home We and lovely neighbours watched the Eclipse together, and shared homemade pizzas( which were varied and so tasty , made by chef Neil in an outside oven he made , drinks and pizzas on the house we later discovered, (thanks so much ) We enjoyed the pool and sitting around reading , and visited the Valley of the Gods on their recommendation, what a wonderful place We ordered a special dinner for our second meal and it was Fantastic, as others have said, Our dinner was Italian, 4 courses and wine as we wanted , Neil is a talented chef , presentation was perfect and each dish was so tasty , don’t miss this opportunity of staying , very reasonably priced Locarn Lodge is surrounded by wheat fields which are peaceful, it is not on the usual route for sightseeing but well worth staying You will not meet a more welcoming and kind hosts Many thanks Anneke and Neil , Sandy and Ted ( Australia)

Anneke et Neil sont des hôtes charmants qui se plient en 4 pour répondre aux mieux à vos attentes. Si vous parlez Anglais c'est un plus, perso cela m'a permis de pratiquer un peu mon Anglais. Mais pas de soucis ils savent quand même bien parler Français pas d'inquiétudes.

Lo mejor, sin duda, los anfitriones: Nil y Anneke. Te hacen sentir como si fueras familia! Las instalaciones son preciosas en un entorno inmejorable! Tanto el desayuno como los platos que ofrecen son de una calidad superlativa, elaborados con productos de calidad y con mucho arte! Además tuvimos mi pareja y yo un problema con el taxi Uber (nos dejó tirados en Carhaix-Plouguer) y Nil vino a buscarnos en coche en cuanto les avisamos. Anfitriones así no se encuentran cada día! Los recomiendo al 500%

Quizás que estaba un poco recóndito pero en realidad es parte de su encanto, así que no tengo queja tampoco!

Everything. The hosts, Neil and Anneke, could not do enough to make our stay amazing. I would recommend taking dinner at least one night - like a Michelin starred restaurant. The house is so full of character and interesting furnishings
