Beautiful wooden chalet for rent against forest

Travel (from the US) required by company (30 days); needed a place not too far from Leeuwarden. Location: Commuting between cities/towns (Gronigen, Leeuwarden, Marum...etc) was easy and relaxing. Nice rural settings on local roads, suburban and urban narrow roads require astute attention. Supermarkets 5-20 minutes away. Be aware, some supermarkets do not accept credit cards. Use of cash or debit card is preferred by most (if not all merchants). The Chalet is like a tiny house. Livingroom is cozy, eat in kitchen is well equipped (although, no oven). Bedding, hand and dish towels were available on request (brought my own bath towels). Two bedrooms; one small with a comfortable queen-sized bed (memory foam mattress) and another room a little bit bigger with a comfortable full-sized bed. Bathroom is kind of tight. If having a luxurious toilet and shower is a problem, this is not the place for you. The grounds are green with lots of shrubbery. The host has animals on the grounds (llamas, deer ducks, parrots, donkey and a pony). They are kept in areas that are cleaned daily. The host is friendly, accommodating and knows the area well. The only issues were, coin operated washer is small (in a separate building), but the dryer is no charge. The internet signal is a little weak. Do not expect gaming to work well. I recommend this place if you're traveling on business, want to get away, like the outdoors, planning on a short stay and want more than a hotel accommodation.
