241 Santai - Balinese Resort Apartment by uHoliday

My partner and I make this trip every year for our anniversary. We love the place and how private and quiet it is. Being a short walk to the beach is our favorite thing. We are down there everyday walking and watching the whales.

Only have positives about the property.

Relaxing, clean and a very enjoyable stay. Good layout, even with bathroom as part of the open plan. Bed was firm and very comfortable. Resort facilities are great. Pool is good and very short stroll to the beach. Restaurant on site has delicious food.

Nothing we didn’t like. No complaints. Could do with at least 2 more towels in the room for the stay when you’re swimming and beaching. (Without having to ring up and order more. )

The unit was very private, located in quiet corner of the complex with a relaxing outlook into trees. Room was very spacious and airy, with large comfortable couch. Generally well-equipped and handy to have your own laundry facility. Great deep bath with a nice outlook across the room. Informative and detailed guest manual in the room was appreciated. Pool looked gorgeous (although it was too cold for us to swim at the time). Great restaurant downstairs serving modern Asian food & good cocktails.

Carpark quite a hike from the room, up 2 levels (with a broken lift) & across the pool zone through 2 gates with all our luggage. Dining table and chairs look great, but chairs are very hard / super uncomfortable and table too small. One tiny detail - disappointing but not important - none of the battery-operated candles or fairy lights worked. We didn't bother buying new batteries for such a short stay. (At my property we use rechargeable batteries and that's one of the first jobs we do on the changeover.)

Locations and layout of the room was great

There were a few things that were just ok - My partner and I found the mattress to be thin and quite uncomfortable - the shower and toilet was in the same space and with the shower flooding the toilet floor - upon arrival I did have to clean the shower floor as there was a used bandaid in the shower and rinsed out the bath tub as there was dirt and hair - there was no map attached to the key card so we did have todo laps around the hotel to find our room I know it was a private rental but the hotel staff couldnt tell us/ wouldn’t help us to find where the room was located so that made it longer
