FANCY RIBEIRA PORTO - Charming flat located in the most emblematic area of Porto

Fabulous little apartment right in the old centre of Porto and a minute away from the river. Communication with the host team was super friendly and helpful, responding very quickly to questions. If you are looking for a break in Porto, I can highly recommend this place

We spent several days in this very comfortable apartment with a great location just a short walk to the river. The management team was very responsive and kept in touch. Of special note, when there was an issue with the internet, they stayed with it until the problem was resolved. There is a slight balcony with lots of light and fresh air (but not much of a view). The photos show a staircase (this is a third floor walk-up, so approximately 50 steps). It’s on a very narrow street that is reachable by car and there are several really great restaurants on the same street. Highly recommend Holy Sandwich and The Ribs. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

We had a lovely stay at the property. Brilliant location and very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I should have been more careful when choosing a place to stay. We are a couple in our 60's and should have known better. Although it is pretty in pictures, the couch was too soft and too low for either of us to sit in without major back discomfort. The only other option are the dining table chairs, which are fine, but not ideal for an evening in the flat. There is essentially no place for clothing other than a rack with some hangers. There are no drawers. One shelf holds an extra blanket and could be used if the blanket is put on the floor. The place is historical, and ancient, which is charming but means there are areas with mold on the wall, near one of the windows, and in several places in the stairwell. The major issue for us was the fact that it was on the 3rd floor, and I did not understand what that meant. The ground floor is floor 0, so there are 3 large flights of very high and somewhat unequal steps to climb as well as a very large initial step at the front door. Do NOT bring large suitcases as they are hard to bring up and down. On the plus side, great loation and fully equipped kitchen.
